About Handout Hero and How We Check

Handout Hero is a free library of 530 printable handouts, charts and templates for teachers. Every design is drawn for this site, so there are no marketplace files, borrowed clip art or copied worksheets here.

How the printing works

Each handout page has a version picker, fill-in fields, a set of classroom styles and a print button. Typing happens in your browser, so student names never leave your computer. The PDF download is the plain, ready-to-print version of each file.

Logos on printouts

Reference charts, organizers, templates, planners and teacher records carry a small Handout Hero footer. Things a student or family keeps, such as certificates, bookmarks, reading logs, reward charts, notes home, passes and name tags, carry no logo, site name or web address.

How we check facts

Word lists, canon lists, atomic data, measurement values and dates are checked against published sources and, where possible, by program. Where a fact could not be checked against a primary source, the page says so in a printed note. Where traditions or communities differ, versions are labeled separately and never blended.

Community review

Faith, Spanish, French and heritage pages are marked Community review in progress until a reviewer from that community has read them. Every page has a Report a correction link, and reviewers use it too.

Not affiliated

Handout Hero is independent. Names of programs, curricula and traditions appear only to describe what a handout is for.
