Disclaimer

Handout Hero provides free printable handouts, charts and templates for teachers. This page explains what they are and what they are not.

General educational materials

The handouts are general teaching aids. They do not replace your curriculum, your school's or district's requirements, or your own professional judgment as a teacher. Please review any handout before you use it with students, and adapt it to the age, needs and abilities of your class.

Accuracy

We check word lists, dates, measurements and other facts against published sources and, where possible, by program, and each page says when a fact could not be checked against a primary source. Mistakes can still occur. If you find one, please use the Report an Issue form, and we will correct it.

Faith-school and cultural sets

Some sets cover religious teachings, traditions and holidays. They summarize common practice and cannot capture every tradition or denomination. Check them against the teachings of your own school, congregation or community before you use them.

Activities and safety

Some handouts suggest classroom activities. You are responsible for supervising students and for following your school's safety, privacy and accessibility rules.

Student privacy

Typing into a handout happens in your browser, so student names and answers are not sent to us. Please follow your school's rules before you print or share a handout that carries a student's name.
