About these women's history month printables handouts

Women's History Month is observed every March, and this set offers three blank pages for the month: a certificate, a title-page frame and a reading log. The borders are plain rings and small six-petal flowers. There are no portraits, quotations or biographies on any page, so the content is yours to choose.

Use the certificate for a reading goal or a research project, the title-page frame as the cover of a report folder, and the reading log for a month of biographies and other books. The title-page frame leaves a large blank panel for a student drawing and has lines for name, class and teacher. Nothing on the pages names a person, so a student can add a subject from their own research.

These frames are blank on purpose. Heritage content needs careful sourcing, and the site is arranging a community review of this set before any text is added. A plain border lets you add what fits your lesson: a book list, a research title, a student's own writing, or an award for effort. If you want students to look something up, point them to library books and primary sources rather than the printable itself.

Type your own title, names and dates into the fill-in boxes before you print. The certificate and reading log carry no logo or web address, so a student can keep them; the title-page frame keeps a small footer.

How to use them

  1. Pick the file you need: certificate, title-page frame or reading log.
  2. Open the fill-in boxes and type the title, names, teacher and dates.
  3. Choose a class style, or black and white to save ink.
  4. Print on letter paper, and use cardstock for the certificate.
  5. Add your own content on the blank areas, drawn from sources you trust.

Classroom tips

  • Set a class goal such as a book a week during March and use the reading log to track it.
  • Hand out the title-page frame at the start of a biography project and let students write the subject's name themselves.
  • Use the certificate for research presentations, with the award wording typed in the title box.

Notes on this page

  • Frames are blank by design: no biographical text is printed. Women's History Month is observed in March.

Frequently asked questions

Which month is Women's History Month?

Women's History Month is observed in March. The National Park Service notes that it has been proclaimed each March by Congress and presidents since the 1980s.

Do the pages include facts about notable women?

No. The pages are blank frames with no biographical text. That keeps the content in your hands and avoids printing claims that need checking.

Can I use the set outside March?

Yes. The designs are plain and not tied to the month, so you can use them for any unit on women's contributions during the school year.
