About these teacher planner pages handouts

A planner only helps if you will open it every day. The weekly page keeps things simple: a box for the week's top priorities, a box for reminders, and one band for each school day. Each day has a plan column with three writing lines and a to-do column with three checkboxes, so planning and tasks sit side by side.

The class tracking page is the other half. Names go down the left side, and ten blank columns across the top can be headed with an assignment, a quiz, a skill check or a parent contact. Use the top line of each header for the date and the second line for the item. It works for homework collection, signed forms, reading checks, field trip money, or anything else that needs a quick tick against every student.

Both pages have fill-in boxes for teacher, class, school and dates, so you can print a full set for the year with the header already complete. They print on standard letter paper and punch well for a binder.

How to use them

  1. Pick the page: weekly planner for the week ahead, class tracker for checking things off by student.
  2. Fill in the teacher, class, school and date boxes before printing.
  3. Print a stack and punch for your binder.
  4. On the weekly page, write priorities on Sunday or Monday morning and tick them off as you go.
  5. On the tracker, write the date and item in each column header and tick or write a note for each student.

Classroom tips

  • Write only three priorities for the week. A short list gets finished; a long one just gets moved to next week.
  • Use the tracker for one repeating job at a time, such as homework or reading logs, so every page has a clear purpose.
  • Print the tracker with an empty student column and add names by hand, so a new class list is never a reprint.
  • Color-code by subject with a highlighter on the weekly page if you teach more than one class.

Frequently asked questions

How many students fit on the class tracking page?

The page has 21 student rows and ten blank columns. If you have a larger class, print a second copy and continue the list, or write two students per row with a slash between names.

Can I use the weekly planner for a split week?

Yes. The Plan column is blank, so you can write a half-day, a field trip or a special schedule in any day's band. Use the reminders box for early dismissals or testing days.

Do these planner pages print double-sided?

They are designed as single pages. If you want a back side, print the weekly page twice and leave the second copy for next week, or add a notes page of your own.
